Qatar Exchange index jumped back into the green area when trading closed Tuesday at 12,134.14 points (5.62%) adding 645.27 points from the previous closing of 11,488.87 points.
The volume of shares rose to 20,884,025 from Monday’s 12,630,296 and the value of shares increased to QR 848,933,798.08 from QR 560,708,349.97 on Monday.
Banking and financial services index rose 6.77% to 2,960.65 points. Telecoms sector index rose 6.22% to 1,512.47 points.
Among the top gainers were United Dev. Company whose share up 7.11% to QR24.10, Commercial Bank of Qatar gained 3.72% to QR 64.20, Nakilat rose 4.06% to QR 21.04 and Vodafone Qatar increased by 10.00% to QR 17.27.
