Qatar Exchange index maintained its upward graph Thursday with all sectorial indices in the green zone when the bourse closed trading at 14,350.50 points, up 185.45 points (+1.31%).
The trading value almost double today when it closed at QR 914.237 Million from Wednesday’s QR 470.922 Million, registering an increase by 94.14%.
The trading volume also jumped to 27,865,932 shares from 7,365 transactions, an increase by 185.56%, from Wednesday’s 9,758,241 shares from 5,605 transactions.
The market capitalisation increased to QR 762.567 Billion from Wednesday’s QR 752.205 Billion.
Indices of all sectors ended the week in the green zone. Telecommunications was the top gainer up 2.72% to 1,752.24 points. Real estate sector was up 1.66% to 3,001.72 points while banks and financial services sector gained 1.33% to 3,527.8 points.
Ooredoo share jumped 3.41% to QR 139.60 from Wednesday’s QR 135 while Qatar National Bank share gained 2.21% when it closed QR 213 from the previous QR 208.40.
