The price of Kuwait crude oil per barrel slightly increased by USD 0.41 to stand at USD 40.85 pb in Friday’s trading compared to USD 40.44 pb on Thursday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Saturday.
On the international market, crude oil ended seven weeks of losses after receiving a strong boost from a report by the International Energy Agency (IEA), which said there were signs lower prices had begun to curb production in some areas, including North America.
The price of Brent crude oil for March delivery rose by USD 1.90 to US 50.17 pb and the light American crude for February delivery jumped by USD 2.44 to USD 48.69 pb.
