Trading at Kuwait Stock Exchange, the national bourse, has maintained an upward trend since Sunday’s closing.
In today’s early trades, the benchmark gained 57.5 points reaching the level of 6,490 points, while the weighted index put on 5.5 points; likewise the KSX 15 index with 20.1 points.
Value of traded stocks reached some KD 7.9 million, volume of traded shares approximately 70 million, done in 1,965 transactions.
The KSE indexes have maintained the bullish trend since closing yesterday’s session, when all of them settled in the green zone. The weighted index closed at 433.62, gaining 16.81 points, the price index stood at 6,432.65, reaching 202.56 points and the KSX 15 index settled at 1,050.02, with a gain of 51.8.
Number of trades, also in the end of yesterday’s session, reached 12,927, value of traded shares amounted to KD 48,841,456.989 million and volume of the exchanged stocks reached 424,343,073 million. The top gainers were (QURAINHLD), (ALDEERA), (SENERGY), (ANDC) and (INVESTORS). The top volume shares were (ALDEERA), (GFH), (SAFRE), (SENERGY), and (ITHMAR).
