Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) indices settled on mixed boards at end of Monday’s session with the weighted index dropping to the level of 444.65 points, posting marginal loss of 0.7 points.
However, price index settled at 6,653.59, gaining 16.88 points, while the KSX 15 index fell to 1,080.39, losing 3.3 points.
Meanwhile, number of trades reached 5,749, value of traded shares KD 24,198,257.775 and volume of exchanged stocks 211,937,118.
Top gainers were GGMC, STRATEGIA, RKWC, KFIC and SALBOOKH. On top of the losers’ list were MADAR, QURAINHLD, TAHSSILAT, FLEX and KCPC. Companies of largest stock volume were GFH, EQUIPMENT, SALBOOKH, NIH and KPPC.
The three main indexes of the national bourse were bullish upon closing Sunday’s session with the price index gaining 64.4 points reaching the level of 6,636 points. Weighted index rose 3.51 points and the KSX index 10.9 points.
The KSX is a tradable, weighted index of the capital value, comprising 15 major companies in terms of liquidity. Its components are revised every six months.
