Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Dubai rose 0.46% in June compared to May on the rise of prices of major groups, according to Dubai Statistics Centre (DSC)’s monthly report.
The report said that increase in the CPI in June was driven by the rise in prices of the groups of food and non-alcoholic drinks by 1.66%, restaurants and hotels 0.65%, and housing, electricity, water, gas and fuels 0.17%, furniture and household goods 0.01%.
It also noted the decrease in prices of the groups of ready-made clothing and footwear by 0.54%, culture and recreation 0.13%, and miscellaneous goods and services 0.05.
Prices of other groups remained unchanged.
