Saudi Arabia has lifted entry ban to the Kingdom through land, sea and airports from the UAE, South Africa and Argentina, starting at 11 am on Wednesday.
An official source said that the Ministry of Interior said the decision was based on the kingdom’s evaluation of the current COVID-19 situation.
The ministry said the decision is based on what the competent health authorities have submitted about the developments of the coronavirus pandemic, and the extent of the stability of the epidemiological situation in all countries of the world, it was decided to lift the suspension of entry to the Kingdom through land, sea and air ports, as of 11:00 am today, 8 September 2021, from the following three countries:
– United Arab Emirates
– Republic of South Africa
– Argentine Republic
The move would allow citizens to travel to the countries.
The source stressed the importance of adhering to all the precautionary and preventive measures adopted.
The authorities explained that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous evaluation by health experts in the Kingdom.
