Deliveroo for Business has adapted its office-focused solutions to assist companies, whether employees are working from the office or home, with new services such as in-app allowances, and the launch of e-gift cards and cloud canteens.

In-app allowances offer companies the option to provide weekly capped lunches so teams can resume lunch traditions while socially distancing in the office.

They also help manage daily allowances available in place of subsidised canteens that may no longer be accessible. Employees working overtime, or working late on client projects, can also expense meals via tools, with the option to add in project codes.

E-Gift cards on Deliveroo for Business are for one-off rewards or as foodie gestures to clients.

For those returning to offices, Deliveroo for Business is helping companies understand the mechanics of group ordering in a safe and cost effective manner through Cloud Canteens. The team at Deliveroo assists in coordinating bulk orders from one restaurant in order to ensure they all arrive at a given time.

Ashley Griffiths, Head of Commercial, says: “Deliveroo for Business has been a hit in the UAE, typically with large companies wanting to simplify their expenses, and plan catered events. However in the last few months, we’ve helped many companies implement virtual lunches to keep morale high, and now as offices look to return our in-app allowance features are being used to easily implement socially distanced catering, or subsidised lunches.”

Deliveroo for Business, which launched in late 2018, provides a range of corporate features allowing companies to easily expense meals, provide employees with perks, and arrange catered events.
