The Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2015) is set to confirm its position as an interactive platform for international organisations, companies, and individuals in the water, energy, environment, oil and gas sectors.
The annual event, which is organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), provides various services for exhibitors from the government, semi-government, and private sectors. These include the optimal place to highlight their products, and services, explore partnerships, and finalise deals. It provides the logistics and other services that help exhibitors to succeed.
WETEX 2015 is held under the umbrella of the Green Week 2015 from 21-23 April, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, in conjunction with the World Green Economy Summit, which aims to consolidate Dubai’s position as a global centre for green economy and sustainability.
“Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, to enhance the global position of Dubai in all fields, DEWA has developed WETEX into a major international platform for vital sectors of the economy. Over 16 years, the exhibition has made significant achievements in the development of water, environment, oil and gas, and conventional and renewable energy sectors, and has succeeded in supporting the national economy significantly through agreements and partnerships that support the journey of economic, social and environmental development in Dubai,” said Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director & CEO, DEWA , President and Founder of WETEX.
“We, at DEWA , have worked diligently to organise an ideal exhibition in 2015. We will make sure we provide all necessary services for exhibitors and create an appropriate environment for exploring partnerships and clinching deals. This will further boost the position of WETEX as the ideal platform for water, energy, environment, oil and gas,” added Al Tayer.
”WETEX saves time and effort for producers and consumers, bringing together exhibitors and consumers in a single location. The exhibition also supports production by displaying various products and services, and offering ideal and valuable marketing opportunities for exhibitors to focus attention on quality and sustainability. Being held in Dubai, there are greater opportunities for fruitful interaction between exhibitors and consumers, as the Emirate is attracting businessmen and experts from around the world.
WETEX 2014 was a great success, recording participation of over 1,500 exhibitors from 42 countries from around the world, and attracting more than 22,600 visitors.
