Sulaiman Hamed Al Mazroui, UAE Ambassador to Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and European Union, took part in the 9th Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Economic Forum in the Belgian capital Brussels.
This year the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan was the country in the spotlight.
Belgium Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders, and Jordan’s Minister of Finance Umayya Toukan, were the guest of honour.
In attendance also were a number of Arab ambassadors accredited to Belgium, senior officials, businessmen and diplomats from the Arab countries and Belgium.
Organized by the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ABLCC) in Brussels, the forum discussed a host of issues, the most prominent among them were cooperation between the Arab World and EU in financial and banking sectors between and ways to achieve energy sustainability in the Arab countries and the role of EU companies in developing Arab energy projects.
