U.A.E. Ambassador to Spain, Hessa Abdullah Al Otaiba, on Thursday at the Royal Palace attended the coronation of HRH King Felipe VI who was proclaimed Spain’s new Head of State at the parliament after King Juan Carlos I had signed his abdication bill into law.
A host of Spanish cabinet ministers, officials, members of the parliament, leaders of Spanish parties, dignitaries and diplomats attended King Felipe VI coronation ceremony.
Ambassador Al Otaiba congratulated King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain.
She conveyed to King Felipe VI greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of U.A.E. Armed Forces, and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, and their wishes for success for the new monarch’s reign.
Al Otaiba also underlined the depth of the friendship and bilateral relations between U.A.E. and Spain.
