Qatar Chamber (QC) Vice-Chairman Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Tawar said that Qatar has great interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation with the Sudan in all fields, especially labor, industry, agriculture, construction, infrastructure, tourism, health, and education sectors.
Tawar made the remarks while meeting at QC’s headquarters on Wednesday a Sudanese delegation headed by Tahir Suleiman Edam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources Development and Labour.
He said that the Sudanese community has good cooperation ties with Qatari nationals and enjoy a good reputation and are characterized by hard work and laws and regulations abidance,saying QC is ready to provide all assistance and cooperate with the Sudanese side in this domain.
For his part, Edam said his current visit to Doha aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of employment between the two countries and to meet with representatives of the private sector to facilitate procedures to bring Sudanese employment to the Qatari market., praising role of Qatari companies operating in Sudan.
Both sides proposed to form a bilateral committee to discuss strengthening the labor agreement signed between the two sides in 1981, in a way that contributes significantly to boosting trade cooperation between the two countries.
