The Qatar construction market is at the heart of the global construction industry with more than $200bn in the pipeline for infrastructure ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. As a natural gateway to the GCC countries, this presents significant opportunity for the local, regional and international markets to conduct business across a variety of sectors. Following a successful decade in Qatar, Project Qatar 2014 witnessed unparalleled global interest and support for its 11th edition, being fully booked in less than 3 months after the launching date of the sales effort with a large number of new global exhibitors and countries taking part, and we extend a very warm welcome to our newcomers this year – Indonesia, Palestine and Romania. We are excited to open our doors tomorrow at the QNCC, a new venue for Project Qatar 2014.”
