Omani telecom operator Nawras on Saturday announced that it will change its brand name to Ooredoo by the end of this year.
The rebranding, the company said, reinforces the company’s “long-term commitment to provide the best value and offers to customers in Oman”. It will further bring consistency to the customer experience, which has always been central to the company, Nawras added.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud al Thani, Chairman, Ooredoo Group, termed the rebranding of Nawras an”exciting moment for the entire Ooredoo family”.”We welcome one of our most innovative operators to the new brand,” said Abdullah.”Communications in Oman has developed rapidly and will now enter a new chapter as we work together to deliver the best end-to-end service quality to our customers.”
