The second “1,000 Projects” exhibition, organized by the Manpower and Government Restructuring Program (MGRP), kicked off on Sunday at the International Fair Ground in Mishref, with the participation of hundreds of Kuwaiti youngsters of initiators and small-sized projects owners.
The exhibition, hosted by Kuwait International Fair (KIF), was inaugurated under the auspices of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Acting Minister of Justice Sheikh Mohammed Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, and Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Minister of State for Planning and Development Hind Al-Sabeeh.
The government is keen on caring for Kuwaiti youngsters’ energies in various fields as state institutions provide all facilities to support and follow their talents, energies, small and medium-sized projects, with a view to developing and enhancing the national economy, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah said in his opening speech.
Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah also expressed his joy towards the “unprecedented” success achieved by the first “1,000 Projects” exhibition, which showcased various ambitious projects by Kuwaiti youth, who showed so much potential, adding that the government does not waste any effort in supporting the march of Kuwaiti youth in all levels to achieve their goals and desires.
The idea behind the exhibition is to encourage Kuwaiti youngsters to develop the spirit of commercial work and benefit from the independent work experience, he said, stressing at the same time importance of MGRP’s crystallization of ideas and placing them into effect in order to instill national values into the development of Kuwaiti economy, as well as work management at private sectors by young Kuwaiti shoulders.
For her part, Minister Al-Sabeeh said that the second “1,000 Projects” exhibition represents an opportunity to train youngsters on self-reliance and managing their financial matters, adding that the ministry has established a specialized http://www.businesstoday.me/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/sample10.jpgistration on small projects for young males and females to facilitate their work.
She also said that the ministry extends a helping hand to youngsters in order to develop their ideas and suggestions, stressing the importance of integrating them into the work market without any fear of “state bureaucratic procedures”.
