Consul General in Hong Kong and Macau Khalid Al-Mutairi, on Saturday, discussed with Assistant Executive Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council Raymond Yip, ways to develop trade cooperation between the two countries.
Yip said that there were opportunities to increase trade exchange between the two countries in a number of fields, including trade of food commodities and fish, Al-Mutairi told KUNA via a phone call.
He also stressed the need to raise the level of trade cooperation with Hong Kong through the exchange of experiences and increase the volume of trade exchange, Al-Mutairi added.
The Assistant Executive Director confirmed that the council has more than 40 branches worldwide to develop trade between Hong Kong and various countries around the world.
He also added that these branches provided business opportunities for companies that take Hong Kong as headquarter.
