Jazeera Airways Group announced Saturday that it will be receiving a brand new Airbus A320 aircraft, bringing the Group’s fleet to 15 fully-owned aircraft.
The new aircraft is the latest in the Middle East and it will provide the best for its customers, according to a Jazeera Airways Group statement.
The aircraft went through strict inspection over nine months by Jazeera team and the company’s partners, Chairman of Jazeera Airways Marwan Boodai added in a statement.
Jazeera Airways Group ordered its first installment for 15 A320 in 2005, and has received three planes in 12 months.
Boodai noted that the group is currently studying the development of a new aircraft order during the next 12 months, as part of the company’s program to modernize its fleet.
Jazeera Airways Group is a Kuwait Stock Exchange-listed company (JAZEERA) with a fleet of 15 fully-owned Airbus A320s as of May 28, 2014, distributed between its airline business, Jazeera Airways (eight aircraft), and its fully-owned leasing-arm Sahaab Aircraft Leasing (seven aircraft), Boodai pointed out.
