HE Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif bin Ahmed Al-Sulaiti has said that the ministry is preparing a comprehensive programme to attract more Qatari students who are high school graduates to study aviation sciences in various disciplines, in coordination with Qatar Aeronautical College.
During the graduation ceremony of a new batch of students of Qatar aeronautical college, HE the minister said,” soon, and perhaps by the end of this year, we will announce a programme focussing on attracting Qatari students who are high school graduates to study aviation sciences.
HE the Minister stated that provision of qualified cadres to work in the aviation sector represents a major challenge facing that sector, not only in Qatar but in the entire world , stressing meantime that the ministry in cooperation with Qatar aeronautical college will spare no effort in attracting and encouraging Qatari youths to engage in this vital area .
Al-Sulaiti further said that the college is exerting tremendous efforts to supply the aviation sector with qualified and well-trained elements , pointing out that the new batch, which graduation celebrated today, including 55 Qatari students, will be employed in the aviation sector, which is in dire need of manpower.
Qatar aeronautical college held today a graduation ceremony for new batch comprising 107 Qatari students divided into three sections , by 29 graduates from pilot training department , the same number from aircraft engineering and maintenance department along with 49 graduates from airport operations department .
