Dubai is to host the 16th International Forum on Arab Tourism on October 22nd and 23rd at the JW Marriott Hotel Dubai, which is being organised by the Arab International Co.
Muna Galal, CEO of Arab International says that this session of the exhibition will specialise in several goals, including showcasing the tourism industry by presenting new tourism products and exchange of information, attracting larger number of visitors both locally and internationally, giving tour operators a chance to display their products and programmes, exchange of experiences in the tourism fields with experts and decision makers in the tourism and travel sectors to achieve maximum development, promoting exchange of investments between countries and promoting Arab environmental tourism between the countries.
Galal said that the exhibition is made up of several sections, Tour Operators, Hotels, Airlines, Insurance Companies, Overland Transport Companies, Saudi Tourism Agencies and companies specialising in Haj and Umra services.
Egypt will be presented by The Tourism Authority, Ministry of Investment, Wadi Al Nile Hospital which will promote Medical Tourism in Egypt. The forum had been held previously in Egypt, Southern Africa, Jordan, Tunis and Morocco.
Speaking on the reasons for selecting Dubai to host this forum for the first time, Galal said that Dubai today occupies a prominent place in the world, strategically located, a destination easy to reach from anywhere in the world, and attracts over 50% of the exhibition industry in the Middle-East, in addition to its success in bidding to host Expo 2020.
