Hosted by Dubai Exports , the export promotion agency of the Department of Economic Development ( DED ), in partnership with the International Trade Centre (ITC), the conference and awards will bring together leading trade representatives from the global public and private sectors to focus on the growing importance of TPOs in the rapidly changing global economy. DP World , Noor Bank and Al Nabooda Automobiles will be the official sponsors.

Policymakers will be joined at the three-day event by heads of national TPOs and other leading trade development professionals from Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America.

First of its kind to be held in the Middle East, the three-day event will host more than 350 experts representing 68 countries from TPOs, trade support institutions and academia, and will focus on innovative solutions that support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in increasing their export competitiveness. A particular emphasis will be on the economic empowerment of women and export promotion.

Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman, DP World , said: ” DP World is delighted to sponsor the Trade Promotion Organisations (TPO) Network World Conference taking place in Dubai – the first time the Conference is being held in our region. As the trade gateway for the GCC and the Middle East and wider region, Dubai is the best place for TPO experts to gather and share views and objectives.

“I would like to thank the International Trade Centre (ITC) and Dubai Exports for their efforts to bring together experts from the TPO, trade support institutions and academia, offering them the opportunity to showcase best practices and innovative solutions that support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in increasing their export competitiveness.” Hussain Al Qemzi, CEO of Noor Bank , said: ” Noor Bank is proud to be associated with the 10th Trade Promotion Organisations (TPO) Network World Conference and Awards to be held in Dubai. “Dubai, as one of the leading global trading hubs, deserves to be in the centre of such a discussion and we are grateful to International Trade Centre and Dubai Exports for providing this platform. Noor Bank , which caters to both segments–SMEs and large corporates–and has been at the forefront of pioneering supply chain finance solutions, including Islamic Factoring, is looking forward to the event to share as well as gain from the views exchanged,” added Al Qemzi.

Ali Al Nabooda – General Manager, Audi Al Nabooda, said “We are delighted to be able to support the TPO Network World Conference and Awards.
