The six member states of the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) have considered the possibility of unifying their prices of petroleum products at a recent meeting in Kuwait, according to Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, U.A.E. Minister of Energy.
The GCC petroleum and energy ministers discussed the unificaiton of petroleum products at the 33rd meeting of the GCC Petroleum Cooperation Committee last Thursday in Kuwait, Al Mazrouie who led the U.A.E. delegation to the meeting said in a statement today.
Minister Al Mazrouie emphasised that the six GCC states will continue their cooperation on petroleum and energy.
In Kuwait, the GCC petroleum and energy ministers also convened the 27th meeting of GCC Electricity and Water Cooperation Committee.
