James Hogan, President and CEO of Etihad Airways, has unveiled that the Abu Dhabi International Airport will receive in December this year Etihad Airways’ Airbus A380s.
Replying to a question put him by Emirates News Agency (WAM) at a press conference held with Airbus CEO Fabrice Bregier in Hamburg, Germany, yesterday, Hogan said, “Etihad Airways works in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Airports Company to prepare the Abu Dhabi International Airport to receive the super-jumbo aircraft.” He added that the launch ceremony of the new A380 aircraft was attended by Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi, U.A.E. Ambassador to Germany and Sheikh Dr. Hamed bin Ahmed Al Hamed, Etihad Airways Board member.
The A380 aircraft will commence regular flights between Abu Dhabi- London.
