Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry and Chairman & Managing Director of Qatar Petroleum (QP), the corporation’s Purchasing and Contracts Department will be hosting the QP Suppliers and Contractors Forum tomorrow, Wednesday, 4 June 2014, at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC).
The forum will be attended by QP officials and by representatives of the corporation’s local and international suppliers and contractors. Registration will commence at 8:00 AM, with the proceedings expected to conclude at 12:30 PM.
Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al-Mulla, Corporate Manager of QP’s Purchasing & Contracts Department, will deliver the keynote address at the event. His speech will be followed by four presentations focusing on the QP Vendor e-Registration, QP’s major projects and preferred vendor lists, procurement management, as well as compliance and performance matters.
As part of the forum, there will also be a panel discussion session involving key personnel from the corporation’s Purchasing & Contracts Department and other relevant QP departments and directorates. The panel session will address any questions that may be raised by the forum participants.
The QP Suppliers and Contractors Forum primarily aims to facilitate dialogue between the corporation and its suppliers and contractors on matters of mutual interest. It also serves as a platform for highlighting QP’s business objectives as well as for addressing any concerns of the corporation’s suppliers and contractors.
