Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) and Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) signed a research agreement on Kuwait’s new oil refinery project.
A statement by KISR said that the research agreement would focus on the effects of refining heavy crude oil on the machinery and units to be installed in the project.
The project aims at providing clean and environment-friendly fuel resource to power stations in Kuwait, said the KISR, affirming that the research was vital to the project’s construction.
