KAHRAMAA Announces Full Readiness for the Holy Month of Ramadan

Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” announced that it is all set to receive the holy month of Ramadan. All due technical and http://www.businesstoday.me/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/sample10.jpgistrative procedures have been taken in transmission and distribution networks.

Electricity transmission substations and control centers are standby, said KAHRAMAA in a press release today.
The technical and emergency teams, and call centers are ready to handle any incident during the holy month and respond to complaints around the clock.
KAHRAMAA has also secured surplus to meet any electricity overload that may ensued in Ramadan at any institutions due to the massive consumption in mosques in particular where demand for electricity and water noticeably increases, the statement added.

Water pumping stations and Tankers Filling Stations (TFS) are all set to receive the holy month of Ramadan. Water will be pumped as usual around the clock during the whole month to ensure stable water supplies for customers. Water standby teams are ready to handle any water shortage incident anywhere.
During Ramadan, Customer Service Centers are open from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm. KAHRAMAA Call Center is working around the clock. Installations engineers and inspectors will work in shifts to respond to any emergency.

On the occasion of Ramadan, KAHRAMAA announced that Tanker Filling Stations (TFS) will be operated seven days a week to meet all customer needs. Al-Wakra, Al-Khor, and Al-Shahaniyah TFSs will work in morning and afternoon shifts from 6.00 am 11.00 am and from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm. Al-Shamal, Mesaieed and Jemiliyah TFSs will work in one shift from 6.00 am to 11.00 am. Al- Sailiah and Um Salal TFSs will be operated in morning and afternoon shifts from 6.00 am to 4.00 pm and in evening shifts from 7.00 pm to midnight. On Fridays, the morning shift will be from 6.00 am to 11.00 am while the afternoon shift will be from 12.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
