HE Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada has concluded his official visit to the Netherlands, which lasted for a few days and saw him hold a series of meetings and talks with senior officials in the government and the energy sector.
HE Dr. Al Sada met Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in The Hague where they discussed a set of issues related to bilateral ties and cooperation between the two friendly countries.
He also met Minister of Economic Affairs Henk Kamp and held talks on bilateral relations between Qatar and the Netherlands and cooperation in the energy sector as well as a set of issues of mutual interest. His talks featured a meeting with Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Lilianne Ploumen.
In addition, Dr. Al Sad paid a visit to the headquarters of Royal Dutch Shell and met its CEO Ben van Beurden and a group of senior executives to discuss existing cooperation between the two sides in the energy sector and ways of boosting it.
In Rotterdam, HE Dr. Al Sada met Pex Langenberg, the deputy mayor in charge of the port of Rotterdam, and the port authority’s Chief Executive Allard Castelein, in addition to a group of senior officials in the liquefied natural gas sector, with talks focusing on bilateral cooperation.
HE Qatar’s Ambassador to The Hague Khalid bin Fahad Al Khater attended all the meetings of HE Dr. Al Sada.
