Ajman Holding, Al Fanar Gas Services Group and G Investment yesterday signed a partnership agreement to set up a new gas services company in Ajman.
During the signing ceremony, attended by Ajman Holding Chairman, Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ajman Holding CEO Yahia Al Jasmi said that the new company, Al Fanar International Gas Services Company, will allow his group to expand in energy-related activities, a matter that would enhance efforts to develop the sector and the trend towards using the more secure and economic central gas systems, compared to traditional gas cylinders.
“The mission of Ajman Holding is to contribute to efforts to achieve economic, social and industrial development in Ajman via supporting these sectors and maintaining wide-ranged investments in the various infrastructure projects to meet growing needs in the Northern Emirate,” Al Jasmi, who signed for Ajman Holding, added.
Haytham Sharaf, Al Fanar Gas Services Group’s Partner and General Manager for Dubai and Northern Emirates, said the new company will design and implement all central gas systems and related services, based on the experience of Al Fanar group in the UAE and a number of Arab countries.
Established in 2000, Ajman Holding runs a wide range of economic and industrial projects in the emirate, while the Abu Dhabi-based Al Fanar was established in 1991 and rapidly expanded in many other areas which resulted in opening fully operational offices in Dubai, Al Ain, Northern Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
