GIOVANNI, an international development company and last year’s winner of the Forbes award for Best Emerging Global Developer, announced the completion of its 110,000sqft luxury apartment hotel in Dubai’s new emerging destination, Jumeirah Village Circle. The strategically located, just 15 minutes from the Expo 2020 site, project is the second completed in the Giovanni Suite Collection, which is an extensive development of four boutique apartment hotels that were inspired by and named after the best Italian cities: Milan, Rome, Naples, and Venice.
Milano, a 14-storey luxury apartment hotel, is a celebration of design with its bespoke 124 studio apartments and one- and two-bedroom suites inspired by the Italian essence of art and aesthetics. The hotel is notable for its refined style, intimate size and elegant spaces. This collection of suites truly captures the brand’s essence of curated sophistication. Unifying impeccable Italian design with the casual sophistication of home comforts, the guestrooms blend warmth with style. Featuring a natural palette of deep browns, rich dark greens and greys, only the most luxurious textiles and materials are used throughout. The design is wonderfully complemented by the excellent facilities and the quality of service, which will ensure that each guest’s stay is thoroughly enjoyable. Milano has a pizza restaurant, a stylish swimming pool, a modern outdoor sauna, steam rooms, and upmarket gym facilities.
Samir Salya, chairman of GIOVANNI, says: “We plan to invest around $1bn to $1.5bn in Dubai in the next two years. Our Jumeirah Village Circle projects are mainly concentrated on hospitality and hotel apartments and will allow us to deliver over 1,000 units. We have started construction work on our third hotel in the Giovanni Suites Collection – Naples by Giovanni Boutique Suites, which is about 204 apartments. Then we’ve got another four projects in the pipeline, which we will be breaking ground on as soon as the approval process completes.”
Milano by Giovanni Boutique Suites officially opened its doors on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting by the hotel’s owners.
