His Excellency Matar Muhammad Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, said that the implementation of the Internal Roads Project in Sama Al Jaddaf comes as part of efforts to develop and improve the basic infrastructure of road works, lighting and drainage of rain water in residential areas, to meet the needs of urban and population expansion and expansion in The emirate, and achieving happiness and welfare of the population, pointing out that the project included the implementation of 12 km of roads, the establishment of a number of intersections, including two intersections ruled by light signals, along with lighting works.
The authority also completed a project for paving internal roads for the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment project in the Oud Al-Muteena 1 area, with a length of nearly seven kilometers, and linking it with the surrounding road network and securing safe and easy entry and exit for road users to and from neighboring areas. The project also includes the implementation of lighting works, side parking and pedestrian sidewalks .
His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer said that the authority has accomplished 47% of the internal road project in the second Al Khawaneej region with a length of 77 km, including single roads with a length of 68 km, and dual assembly roads with a length of approximately nine km, where the construction and paving of the internal road network in the region will be established with infrastructure works that This includes connection to the rainwater drainage network, as well as improvements to the electricity and water networks and street lighting works.
