The 10th annual conference of the business families club in the Middle East began here on Monday.
The conference aims to shed light on the sustainability of family enterprises in the region, where the conference’s sessions would provide for business owners and corporate executives an opportunity to discuss various aspects related to investment and business development.
The gathering will also address the role of entrepreneurship, innovation and competitiveness in the success of the business and strategic partnerships on the medium and long terms.
General Director of Marketing and Media at the Export Development Center Faisal bin Turki Al Saeed said in a press statement that family businesses are a raw key to the economy in a number of countries in the region due to their active role in promoting a competitive business, job creation, entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability.
He expressed hope the the Sultanate would succeed in hosting such gathering to look into challenges facing business families in the region.
