Qatar Gas Transport Company Limited (Nakilat) has announced a net profit of QR 207 Million for the first quarter ended March 31 for the financial year 2014.
This represents an growth of 17% compared to QR 177 Million announced for the same period in 2013, the company said.
HE the Minister of Energy and Industry and Chairman of Qatar Gas Transport Company Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada said, “The strong results of the company’s earnings clearly reflect the strong growth of Nakilat’s main business activities of transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG), through the expansion of the company’s business activities to include international markets.” HE the Minister said, “Nakilat will continue to pursue good opportunities to acquire new vessels and said increase in activities at the ship yard has had a positive impact on the company’s financial results.”
