Mubadala, the Abu Dhabi-based investment and development company, will have a significant presence at its 5th consecutive Dubai Airshow, the Middle East’s leading aerospace event, being held from 8th – 12th November at Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai South.
Mubadala will showcase assets from its Aerospace and Engineering services portfolio , including Al Yah Satellite Communications Company, Piaggio Aerospace, Nibras Al Ain Aerospace Park, Sanad, SR Technics, Strata Manufacturing and Turbine Services and Solutions Aerospace.

During this year’s exhibition, Mubadala will showcase its aerospace journey from when it began in 2007 through the formation of partnerships and initiating investments with world leading organisations, to blending its global expertise with local resources creating two core offerings in manufacturing and services today.
Mubadala’s manufacturing companies are championed by Strata, now in its sixth year of operation with nearly 700 employees, Strata is an advanced composite aero-structures manufacturing facility based in Al Ain, which boasts a 45% Emiratisation rate – over 84% of which are females. Piaggio Aerospace, which designs, develops, builds and maintains aircraft, aircraft engines and structural components, rounds out Mubadala’s international manufacturing offering.
The service related companies include SR Technics, which is today one of the world’s leading total solutions providers of aircraft, component, engine and technical services. Yahsat, the 8th largest satellite operator in the world, who will take delivery of its third satellite, Al Yah 3, in Q4 2016. TS&S Aerospace, the region’s premier engine MRO services provider working with global original equipment manufacturers, and Sanad, an industry leader in integrated financing and leasing solutions for spare engine and aircraft components.
