A total of 23 Northern Irish companies represented by Invest Northern Ireland are to embark on a trade mission with the UAE and Saudi Arabia, across the specialist construction, F&B, hotel supply chain, security and animal nutrition sectors, with some of the companies making their regional debut.
The mission is led by Barry Clarke, regional HQ for India, Middle East and Africa based at the British Embassy, Dubai and the businesses will be supported by INI’s International Business offices in Dubai Internet City and Jeddah, at the British Consulate General.
“Invest NI’s International Business Offices help Northern Ireland companies to increase exports, develop international collaborations and seek new investment, bringing greater prosperity to this part of the United Kingdom,” said regional marketing and communications manager, Gary Osborne.
“We also work closely with many stakeholders such as UK Trade and Investment, Tourism Ireland, the British Business Groups, British Centres for Business and the Irish Business Network. Together, we promote Northern Ireland as a destination, for tourism, trade, investment and education. Bringing together our growing Northern Ireland Diaspora in the form of Northern Irish Connections is an integral part of the overall proposition,” he added.
Invest NI is the regional economic development agency for Northern Ireland, with a remit to grow the local economy by helping new and existing businesses to compete internationally and by attracting new inbound investment to Northern Ireland.
