EI World

Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, today announced the launch of EI World – a fun and easy way to bank on iPhones.

EI World is a first of its kind mobile banking app that allows Emirates Islamic customers to conduct a range of banking transactions in a fun and engaging environment. The app awards users with points and tokens that can be redeemed for prizes and move up levels similar to a game.

The innovative app uses a user friendly ‘home’ environment, with each room of the house offering relevant banking services. For example, navigating through the living room, customers can pay for their mobile, cable or internet bills. The kitchen section houses utility bill payments, while the garage lets customers top up their Salik account. Users can also make donations, transfers within their own accounts as well as pay for credit card bills and Nol services via the app.

Commenting on the launch of the new app, Faisal Aqil, Deputy CEO – Consumer Wealth Management, Emirates Islamic said, “We are a bank of firsts when it comes to the latest technology. We were the first Islamic bank in the UAE to launch a mobile banking app. Now, with the launch of EI world, we have raised the bar even further, providing our customers a whole new way to engage with us and avail fast, hassle-free banking services.

“Empowering our customers and providing them with convenient ways to bank is a key objective at Emirates Islamic. As the United Arab Emirates further adopts digital solutions for government services and across different industries, we have seen increased customer demand for on-the-go solutions that match busy lifestyles. We are certain that our customers will appreciate the benefits and embrace EI World as the preferred way to bank,” concluded Aqil.

The EI World app is available for free download on the iTunes App Store.
