Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, ADIB, has received the “Human Resource Development Award” for 2014 from the Emirates Institute of Banking and Financial Studies, EIBFS, for its work in developing talent, particularly among UAE nationals.
Receiving the award for the third time, ADIB was recognised for lifting the proportion of Emirati employees to 48.1 percent and for its professional development programmes.
Tirad Al Mahmoud, Chief Executive Officer of ADIB commented, “ADIB is fully focused on delivering an excellent customer service, and we realise that we will only succeed if we continually develop the expertise and personal skills of our people from moment they start work in the bank to the day they leave.” “This award from EIBFS acknowledges that we are on the right path, and encourages us to step up our efforts even further in the coming years,” he added.
Over the last three years, ADIB has increased its headcount of UAE nationals as the bank expanded its branch network across the country to over 85 branches.
