Previously serving as the Director of Operations at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights, Jose’s journey spans iconic destinations, showcasing his commitment to culinary excellence. His leadership has positively influenced team dynamics, embodying a dedication to innovation and exceptional guest experiences.
Chef Jose’s love for all things culinary began in the family bakery in his hometown of Campeche, Mexico, laying the foundation for his remarkable journey. He further honed his skills by studying at the Business Administration College in Cancun. Jose’s culinary journey then took him to different parts of Asia, including Hong Kong and Malaysia,
Returning to Mexico in 1994, Jose assumed the position of Executive Sous Chef in Acapulco. His outstanding skills quickly earned him a promotion to Executive Chef just a year later, and he enjoyed seven hugely successful years before venturing to Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, in 2001. During his tenure in Egypt, Jose had the honour of cooking for high-profile international dignitaries, kings, and heads of state from the Middle East.
