The American University of Ras Al Khaimah has obtained academic accreditation for two new undergraduate programs in Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering according to the American model, from the Commission for Academic Accreditation, UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The follows a meticulous process of the evaluation and meeting the conditions and criteria set by the commission, in accordance with international standards.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) recently signed a cooperation agreement under which ADNOC will provide scholarships for 300 outstanding Emirati students for doing their bachelors in chemical engineering and petroleum engineering at the University, starting from the academic year 2014-2015. The admissions will be subject to the conditions and the requirements of the ADNOC scholarship program and on the basis of criteria of engineering programs as defined by the University.
The American University of Ras Al Khaimah has put in place the right environment for petroleum engineering chemical engineering disciplines, according to advanced technology and the highest international standards, and the programs will be delivered by professors of different nationalities with vast experience.
