Oman crude oil futures contract (DME Oman) for September jumped US$1.41 to settle at US$105.95, up US$1.41, at 0830 GMT (12: 30 p.m. Dubai local time) on Tuesday.
Dubai Mercantile Exchange, the premier international energy futures and commodities exchange in the Middle East, lists DME Oman as its flagship contract providing the most fair and transparent crude oil benchmark for the region.
DME Oman is the explicit and sole benchmark for Oman and Dubai crude oil Official Selling Prices (OSPs) – historically established markers for Middle Eastern crude oil exports to Asia.
