Boeing Company presented an overview of the aerospace industry to students at the annual Qatar Aeronautical College Career Fair held here.
The aircraft manufacturer showed students videos of Boeing commercial airplanes like 777 and 787 Dreamliner currently used by national carrier Qatar Airways.
Boeing Defense, Space and Security Director of Business Development for the Middle East Wael Zaoud presented the latest industry trends to the students.
“People are our company’s strength and our competitive advantage. We always look for opportunities to identify and attract skilled, motivated and diverse talent. The event with Qatar Aeronautical provided us this opportunity,” said Zaoud.
Boeing participated in the career fair as part of its ongoing and longstanding relationship with Qatar Aeronautical College.
Earlier this year, Boeing partnered with the college to provide a group of Qatari youth first-hand insights into the science of aviation and history at the Al Khor Fly-In.
Qatar Aeronautical College was founded in 1975 as the Civil Aviation College of the Gulf States.
