The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Tuesday at 12,323.45 points (0.91%) down 112.60 points from the previous closing of 12,436.05 points on Monday.
The volume of shares was up to 8,412,167 from Monday 7,104,537 and the value of shares increased to QR458,780,579.24 from QR336,810,166.48 on Monday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share down 2.22% to QR172.10, Industries Qatar lost 2.51% to QR174.50, Doha Bank fell 2.41% to QR56.60 and Salam International decreased by 3.26% to QR16.62.
