Before joining Tashas Group, Andy was the CEO of Eathos (from 2018 to 2022), a specialized restaurant group headquartered in Dubai, where he oversaw a portfolio of renowned international franchise brands such as SushiArt, Tortilla, Rosa’s Thai, Cocotte, The Athenian, and Kababji. Under his leadership, Eathos managed over 40 traditional brick-and-mortar restaurants across three countries and also pioneered next-generation ‘Virtual’ brands, operating through cloud kitchens. Prior to Eathos, Andy played a pivotal role in expanding Thai fine and casual dining concepts in the UK and Europe as part of Minor International.
Andy’s leadership credentials are further underscored by his tenure as Managing Director and Vice President of International Franchising for Minor Food Group Plc. at ‘The Pizza Company’ in Thailand. It is the country’s largest pizza and pasta restaurant chain. During his eight-year tenure starting in 2006, he oversaw the expansion from 100 to over 450 restaurants and delivery outlets in Thailand, in addition to growing the international franchise footprint to more than 100 units. His earlier career includes leading the growth of Pizza Hut in the MENAPAKT region, where he expanded the brand from around 100 stores to over 600 between 1995 and 2006.
A self-motivated and adaptable professional, Andy is well-versed in handling rapid and unexpected changes, including transitioning across functional disciplines and relocating to new countries. His global perspective, honed through extensive exposure to American, European, Far East, Middle East, and Southeast Asian markets, is complemented by his cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate the complexities of international business with finesse.
In addition to his operational acumen, Andy is a dynamic and passionate people developer and organization builder. He is known for his ability to nurture talent, instill loyalty, and drive excellence within teams, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented culture.
