Waldorf Astoria DIFC to host a seven-course Chef’s Table tasting menu on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 March at Bull & Bear featuring Atala and head chef Luca Depalo.
The Waldorf Astoria DIFC is bringing together two-star Michelin chef Alex Atala and its very own Luca Depalo to offer Bull & Bear diners a unique Four Hands experience for two days only next month, on March 1 and 2.
Celebrating an infusion of flavours and innovation, the exclusive Chef’s Table promises an intimate setting that goes far beyond the plate. The specially curated seven-course tasting menu will transport diners to the Amazon rainforest as Atala fuses innovative and unusual ingredients with traditional tastes from his home country, Brazil. Foodies can indulge in a host of delicious dishes including, Amuse Bouche – bacuri water, manioc with fresh tuna and fermented manioc, as well as grouper, acai, oil oil sauce and much more.
The two-day event will provide diners with lunch and dinner options, with the afternoon sitting starting from 12:30pm and evening from 7:30pm. The lunch experience is priced at Dh650 per person, while dinner will cost Dh995pp. Diners can choose to elevate their experience with an additional grape pairing menu for an additional Dh350pp.
Chef Atala, founder of Sao Paulo’s first two-star Michelin restaurant D.O.M., is renowned for his culinary creations that fuse local Brazilian ingredients with traditional tastes, as well as his honourable commitment to sustainability. His accolades include being named one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” and receiving the “Lifetime Achievement Diners Club Prize” in the South American 50 Best election.
