Real estate consultant Savills has received the Great Place to Work Certification 2023 from the global research, training and consultancy firm, which is the global authority on workplace culture.
Savills Saudi Arabia has received this certification for the first time, based on direct feedback from employees that was provided as part of an extensive and anonymous survey about their experience with the Savills workplace environment.
Employees were asked to rate their experience working at Savills on a range of parameters that covered the broad areas of personal and professional growth, organisational culture, job satisfaction and workplace relationships, among others.
Survey responses indicated that team members were made to feel that their work mattered. They believed that the company is honest with them and delivers on its promises. Further, employees expressed that they had the latitude to experiment with new ideas and that their managers provided ample opportunities for professional growth and development. Overall, employees said they felt a sense of pride in being associated with Savills and their accomplishments.
Ramzi Darwish, Head of Savills Saudi Arabia, said, “We are very pleased to have received the Great Place to Work certification for our Saudi operations this year from the organisation that is the go-to authority for workplace satisfaction studies. The insights have been extremely helpful in revealing what is working well for our current workforce and where we can enhance their, and thereby clients’, experience further. We are aware that this certification is also important to attract our future workforce, giving them a glimpse into how rewarding and enjoyable life at Savills can be. We will strive to improve our rankings year after year and become one of the best places to work for in the Kingdom.”
Savills Saudi Arabia recently expanded its services into Jeddah by establishing an office, with its first office in the Kingdom located in Riyadh since 2016. Both locations together deliver to client’s commercial agency services including tenant and landlord representation, building and project consulting, property management, facilities management and strategic consultancy, with plans underway to introduce additional service lines. In the next two years, Savills is likely to double the number of employees in the Kingdom, who are also supported by the wider regional and global teams. The opening of new offices, attracting new talent, and rolling out of additional services reflects Savills commitment to the country and confidence in the Kingdom’s growth trajectory.
