Dubai Opera announces line-up of festive events and performances

Dubai Opera has announced a line-up of festive events.

On December 10, music fans can celebrate the magic of Christmas with renowned English vocalists Gareth Gates and former Atomic Kitten lead vocalist Natasha Hamilton as they will take the Dubai Opera stage for a nostalgic ‘noughties’ Christmas concert titled Christmas Cracker.

This festive extravaganza of sparkling Christmas songs, Yuletide classics and audience carols promises to transport guests to the magical days of Christmas’ past- a definite delight for those who want to reignite that childhood wonder. Ticket prices start from AED 225 with a welcome house beverage.

On December 11, Santa Baby – a festive, jazz concert performed by NSO Big Band will make its debut at Dubai Opera. The magic of the holidays will be celebrated in full swing. Concert-goers can expect swinging renditions of Yo Tannenbaum, Everybody’s Waitin’ For The Man With The Bag, Christmas Time Is Here, Silver Bells, All I Want For Christmas Is You, and 12 Bars of Christmas.

The show will take place on December 11 with two performances at 2pm and 8pm, respectively, with tickets starting from AED 190 inclusive of a house beverage.

On December 19, Dubai Opera presents the critically acclaimed story of one of music’s most legendary duos, The Simon & Garfunkel Story, with two shows, 2pm and 8pm, respectively.

This immersive concert-style theater show chronicles the riveting journey of folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, famously known as Simon & Garfunkel. Tickets start from AED 145 with a welcome house beverage.

A festive extravaganza for the whole family, Cirque de Glace will glide into Dubai Opera from December 24-26. Ticket prices start at AED 295 with a welcome house beverage.
