Qatar Airways announced Monday that it will increase its trips to destinations in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific in preparation for the winter season.
The company said in a statement released on their website today that the decision was made to accommodate strong passenger demand and the induction of additional aircrafts inducted into the fleet. Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said in the statement that the increases will ensure that these popular routes grow from strength to strength. He added that Qatar Airways will continue to look for other ways to increase its destinations worldwide. Qatar Airways currently has orders worth over USD 50 billion for more than 250 aircraft, including Boeing 787s, 777s, Airbus A350s, A380s and A320 family of aircraft.
