The Lincoln Continental Concept made its Middle East debut at the Dubai International Motor Show on November 10, highlighting an “innovative future design direction”.

“Luxury at its best, is about simplifying and quietly exceeding expectations, rather than being the loudest statement on the road,” said Kumar Galhotra, president of Lincoln. “The Continental Concept showcases the promise of quiet luxury from Lincoln going forward. It also is a strong indication of what’s to come next year as we introduce our new Lincoln Continental full-size luxury sedan.”

The new design is most visible in the updated one-piece Lincoln signature grille featuring a repeating Lincoln star graphic, finished in bright chrome. This new grille will be introduced progressively across all future Lincoln products.

Lincoln’s 3.0-litre V6 EcoBoost® powertrain offers an effortlessly powerful engine, which when joined by the Lincoln Drive Control and Active Front Steering, Enhanced Park Assist with 360-Degree Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control with stop and go, and an 19-speaker Revel audio system, combine to create a premium driving experience.

The concept’s interior includes 30-way adjustable seats, reclining rear seat, Venetian leather, tone-on-tone monochromatic colour treatment, a through-centre console extending from the front to the rear and a docking station for mobile phones or tablets.

Since 2013, Lincoln has launched three all new vehicles – MKZ, MKC, MKX- and a refreshed Navigator. The all-new 2016 MKX will join the Continental Concept on the Lincoln stand at this year’s Dubai International Motor Show, together with the MKC and the MKZ.
