Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 81.68 points (- 0.64%) when the bourse closed at 12,607.60 points here Thursday.
The traded value today dropped to QR 552.14 million with a volume of 17,343,195 shares from 6,683 transactions compared to QR 985.77 million with a volume of 33,411,588 shares from 9,956 transactions on Wednesday.
Barring telecommunications sector (+0.28%), indices of all sectors declined today.
Real estate sector dropped the most, down -2.22% to 2,546.44 points followed by insurance sector, down -1.38% to 3,960.86 points.
Today nine companies gained, 30 went down while three remained unchanged.
