The Qatar Exchange was down on Wednesday by 41.84 points or 0.34 percent to 12,285.78 points from the previous closing of 12,327.62.
The volume of shares traded fell to 13,368,051 from 23,357,532 Tuesday and the value of shares decreased to QR 528,284,348.13 from QR1,050,108,511.54 Tuesday.
Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 2.50 percent to QR 168.00, Gulf International lost 1.82 to QR 97.10, Ezdan Holding fell 1.58 percent to QR 14.92, and Qatar Islamic Bank down 0.87 percent to QR 102.20.
The Banking and financial sector fell by 0.35 points while the Insurance sector added 0.01 points. The industrial sector lost 1.06 points while consumer good and service sector up 0.48 points.
