International ministers and decision makers including Suhail Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy participated in the Ministerial Panel session at the ADIPEC 2014, which opened today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The participants offered new insights on developing in-country value through the development of local talent.
The other panelists included Dr Ali Saleh Al Omair, Minister of Oil and Minister of State for the National Assembly, State of Kuwait; Right Honourable Lord Howell of Guildford, Former Secretary of State for Energy, Former Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, UK; and Abdalla Salem El Badri, Secretary General for the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries.
Panel members discussed issues around transforming oil wealth by investing in people – particularly youth – to create employment and feed into the growth of regional economies.
