The price of Kuwait crude oil per barrel went down by USD 0.25, standing at USD 81.46 pb on Thursday compared to USD 81.71 on Wednesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) here Friday.
Crude prices have been affected by the rise of US dollar against the rest of foreign currencies.
The US currency rose as Federal Reserve announced it would stop its sprawling six-year-old stimulus program, known as quantitative easing.
Contracts of US crude oil were traded at USD 81.58 pb at the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday.
